Rice Stick Noodles
Ⓥ Vegan GF Gluten Free 3 oz Portion, Dry Weight. Two bundles, as shown.
Rice Stick Noodles or Banh Pho are wider & thicker than the other vermicelli noodles we sell for those that like a thicker more robust noodle. These mop up sauces like a dream & are also great hot or cold, but do stand up well to brothy dishes.
Cooking Instructions:
Soak in very hot tap water for at least 5 minutes, but no more than 30, or until softened. Boil in unsalted water 2-3 minutes, tasting for doneness. If you are making chilled noodles, cook an additional 30 seconds, then remove from boiling water, & run under cool water until chilled. If you are putting these in the fridge to eat at a later time, you can toss them in a touch of neutral oil to keep them from sticking together. Or Even Pre-Dress Them In Your Favorite Only Pans L.A. Sauce For A Lunch That’s Ready To Go! If you are serving these in broth, do not add the noodles to the soup until right before you are ready to eat! [You don’t want them to get soggy.]
